A method for Critical Infrastructure Resilience Engineering: The MAIIEUTIC project

Résumé

A Critical Infrastructure (CI) aims to provide crucial services (water or energy distribution, transportation, health…) to population, companies and businesses. It is today MAIIEUTIC is a French research collaborative project aiming to propose conceptual, methodological and technical elements composing a, equipped Resilient Critical Infrastructure Engineering method. The goal is to allow managers and other stakeholders involved in a critical infrastructure (CI) to model and analyse the behaviours and properties of CI considering effects propagation and dependence relations in order to maximise CI resilience. This article presents what are the research problematic, the locks to be overcome and the work under development.
